Against a Wen

Time to get a little medieval! Here's an Anglo-Saxon metrical charm "Against a Wen". A 'wen' is a kind of cyst, but it's personified as a little creature which must be shooed away in this healing poem. You can see the original text here, then read a translation here (although I did a translation of my own; if I had it handy I would link to it).

With kantele (because everything goes better with kantele); in this case, it's Little My, the five string from Lovikka. Still working out the different ways of recording, but getting the words right takes long enough (even when I'm not reading Anglo-Saxon). I'm willing to settle for a gradual improvement in quality (assuming it will happen somehow). Just having fun.

Running time 1.10
